Welcome to the eleventh annual Maple in the County.

Maple in the County is one of my favourite Ontario culinary festivals. The celebration of the first harvest of the year excites me as it indicates that spring is around the corner and (selfishly) guarantees that I'll be able to stock our cupboards with one of Mother Nature’s sweetest gifts.

 

I love how the community comes together to showcase the Maple Syrup industry! My family and friends have made attending Maple in the County a tradition that we all anticipate. It's everything maple for 48 hours! We hit the pancake breakfasts at the sugarbushes, stop into Buddha Dog for a maple dog, we visit the cheese factories (yum- maple cheddar), the wineries and brewery and, of course, we love running into Mabel the Maple Leaf out on her adventures.

 

It's a delicious weekend in Prince Edward County - I hope to see you and your families out and about this year!
